On a GCAC program, you will:

dig into daily dining experiences prepared by local cooks eager to broaden your understanding of what you are eating
participate in structured group lessons with seasoned chefs who adeptly pass on their culinary wisdom through time-honored instructional methods rooted in culinary heritage,
explore sociocultural contexts as you walk through markets and take in the aromas and learn the origins of new-to-you flavors with long histories
gain insights that transcend borders and boundaries as farmers explain the roots of their efforts to sustainably grow food and provide for the future
and, whenever possible, share your expertise with students and community members at partnering institutions in-country and upon your return home.
